How do I access Moodle?

Access to Moodle requires a Mico mail address and password. If you do not have an Mico mail account, you can  activate online account.
To access Moodle:
  1. Go to online.themico.net/login
  2. Locate and click the sign in with google button.
  3. Enter your Mico mail address and password.
 

Why don’t I see my course after I log in to Moodle?

There could be multiple reasons for this:
  • Your course is not offered through Moodle.
  • You are not officially enrolled in the course.
  • Your professor has not yet made the course available to students.
  • You were registered late and it can take up to 48 hours to view your course listed in Moodle.

I forgot my username and/or password for Moodle. What do I do?

How do I update my profile in Moodle?

How do I remove a posting from the forum?

Once you have created a forum posting, you have 15 minutes to either delete or make changes to it. Once that time has expired, you would have to contact your instructor and request to have the posting removed for you.
 

How do I receive forum notifications by email?

To receive forum notifications by email, you must subscribe to forums. Subscribing to forums allows you to receive emails every time a discussion occurs in a forum. If you do not know how to subscribe to forums, please refer to the  Moodle Quick Start Guide for Students.

I am not able to open documents in my Moodle course. What do I do?

Please ensure that you have the appropriate application (e.g., correct version of Microsoft Office) to open your document. If in doubt, check with your instructor which application you should use.
 

Assessment and Evaluation

 

How do I view my grades?

To view your grades, follow the steps below:
  1. Log in to online.themico.net, and click on the required course title that appears.
  2. Click on Grades Grades icon in ‘Settings’ block. The User report will be displayed.
  3. You may click on Overview report to view grades of all the courses you are enrolled in.

  4. To view grades for a specific assignment, follow the steps below:
  5. Log in to online.themico.net, and click on the required course title that appears.
  6. Click on the assignment name of which you want to view the grades and feedback.
  7. You can see grades and feedback received for that assignment in the middle section of the page.

Why did Moodle log me out during a quiz and lose my results?

Moodle has an idle timeout of 4 hours. If you are inactive for 4 hours, you will be automatically logged out and your unsaved results may be lost because of the inactivity.
